Pennsylvania Homeowner Assistance Fund
PAHAF is reopening on March 18, 2024. The Pennsylvania Homeowner Assistance Fund, or PAHAF, is a housing-related program funded by the U.S. Treasury to assist Pennsylvania homeowners facing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program provides financial assistance to homeowners for qualified mortgage and housing-related expenses to address delinquency and avoid default, foreclosure, or displacement. Lead Service Line Replacement Accelerator Communities
EPA is collaborating with state partners in a new water technical assistance (Water TA) initiative called Lead Service Line Replacement Accelerators. EPA and four state partners—Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin— are working with 40 communities in 2023 to address existing barriers and accelerate progress towards LSL identification and replacement. Jersey Shore Area Joint Water Authority has been chosen as one out of ten water systems in Pennsylvania to receive technical assistance from EPA and state partners for the new lead service line replacement regulation set forth by the Biden administration.
